HP Latex 315, one of three new entry level Latex printers
HP has launched three low volume Latex machines, the 315, 335 and 365, which it claims will make it more affordable for firms to enter the sign and graphics markets.
New features include an automatic X-axis cutter, increased media versatility and online training tools for operators.
The 315 is a 1.37 m wide (54 in) machine capable of up to 12 sqm/hr for indoor graphics and 12 sqm/hr for exterior applications. The 335 and 365 are both 1.63 m (64 in) machines. The 335 can produce 13 sqm/hr for indoor and 23 sqm/hr for exteriors. The top of the range 365 is faster, capable of 17 sqm/hr and 31 sqm/hr respectively. It also includes a built in i1 spectrophotometer for automatic ICC profile creation.
‘With the introduction of the HP Latex 300 Printer series, HP disrupted the low-volume market with a completely new platform featuring a range of price points, sizes and production levels, making it possible for more print service providers to enter sign and display printing,’ said Xavier Garcia, general manager, Large Format Printing division, HP Inc.
