Wrap, wall and signage films from 3M will be showcased by Spandex at The Print Show.
‘This is our first year at The Print Show and we are very excited to be [… showing] films from 3M,’ said, Leon Watson, UK general manager, Spandex.
Spandex’s stand will include a wrapping area featuring 3M film products. The company will demonstrate 3M’s non-PVC Envision print film 48 and Envision print wrap film 480CV3, wrap film series 1080 and 1380, and DI-NOC architectural finishes.
The Envision print film 48 and Envision print wrap film 480CV3 are compatible with UV, solvent and latex printers.
The 3M wrap film series 1080 is a long-term, dual-layer cast film with a 90-micron thickness that comes in 80+ colours and a variety of finishes. The extra wide rolls of 1.52 m allow applicators to quickly cover entire vehicle panels without joins or seams.
The 1380 series film has an additional white layer, increasing the opacity to improve the colour brilliance and prevent substrate show-through. A durable transparent top coat gives added protection.
The self-adhesive DI-NOC architectural finishes include wood, metal, textile, stucco, ceramic, stone and leather.
All the films incorporate Comply adhesive technology, enabling the film to be repositioned. Invisible air release channels that allow air to be dispersed to ensure bubble-free application.
