Customers will be able to experience the new Océ ColorStream 6000 Chroma
Canon will demonstrate a range of its latest presses at the company’s customer experience centre in Poing, Germany.
‘Our focus will be on systems that enable shorter print runs, just-in-time print delivery, personalised content and greater cost-effectiveness,’ said Craig Nethercott, director of commercial printing, Canon UK.
Continuous feed machines demonstrated during 20-22 September event will include the Océ ColorStream Chroma, ImageStream 2400 and 3500, and the VarioStream 4000 and 7170.
Cut sheet machines include the inkjet Océ VarioPrint i300 (along with the first showing of the upgraded ColorGrip imaging system since drupa), the new colour toner flagship imagePress C1000VP and the monochrome Océ VarioPrint 6000. The DreamLabo 5000 for photobook printing will also be on display.
The business days will provide Canon with useful feedback. ‘This is a two-way experience,’ explained Mr Nethercott. ‘We get important customer feedback that is vital in helping us to develop Canon technologies of the future.’
