Xeikon’s new LDU running inline with a 3030 press at Labelexpo Americas
In a world premiere, Xeikon has launched a laser die-cutting (LDU) unit, which it is showing running inline with the entry-level 3030 press at Labelexpo Americas.
Developed for lower press speeds, the LDU can be upgraded by adding another laser.
The firm’s Fusion inline digital finishing technology is being shown in the US for the first time at Labelexpo Americas. Currently in beta testing with a Belgian customer, who is using Fusion white for health and beauty applications, commercial availability is planned for 2017.
