Healeys’ bindery team leader Sharon Allum on the Horizon SPF/FC 200L
Healeys Printers has invested in a Horizon SPF-FC/200L landscape feed bookletmaker to produce landscape A4 property brochures.
The Ipswich B2 litho and digital printer had added a longsheet feeder to its Kodak NexPress for its A4 landscape work and ‘needed something to finish it,’ said Philip Dodd, Healeys’ managing director, explaining his company’s choice of the 4,500 bph bookletmaker, supplied by IFS, which can feed sheets up to 640 mm in length.
‘We already have a Horizon StitchLiner 5500 but the new addition allows us to be more creative with the mix of work we are running,’ added Mr Dodd. ‘For example if we need to quickly complete a 12-page A4 250-300 run we can do it faster and make money on it.’
Healeys has also acquired a Foliant Taurus 530SF to meet a growing need for same day lamination.
