The A2 UJF-6042 MkII
Mimaki has launched a new generation of its UJF tabletop flatbed printers and an additional member of the JFX200 series with a larger print area.
The UJF MkII models are 20% faster than their predecessors and feature covered print tables to improve safety and keep dust out.
The A3 UJF-3042 MkII produces 2.5 sq m/hour and the A2 UJF-6042 produces 3.5 sq m/hour.
‘I’m confident that the new models will move the benchmark even higher and are likely to have huge appeal to sign and graphics companies looking to diversify their offering, as well as manufacturing and sampling companies with their need for flexibility and short-run production,’ said Stuart Cole, national sales manager, industrial products for Hybrid Services; Mimaki’s distributor in the UK and Ireland.
The new JFX200-2531 has a print area of 2.5 x 3.1 m, double the size of the JFX200-2513, making it possible to simultaneously print and load/unload sheets up to 1.2 x 2.4 m (4ft × 8ft), improving productivity. Additional features include an ioniser to eliminate static and a vacuum pedal for hands-free operation of the vacuum.
‘This new model will appeal to signmakers whose businesses are expanding, and are now looking for greater output capability,’ said Mr Cole.
Mimaki will unveil the UJF-3042 MkII and UJF-6042 MkII models at Viscom Paris, which takes place 6-8 September 2016. The JFX200-2531 will be available early 2017.
