The HP PageWide XL 5000 printer
The company is one of the first in the UK to opt for HP’s PageWide technology.
Speed and quality were key factors in deciding to replace the company’s Xerox monochrome LED plan printer with the single pass colour inkjet machine.
‘This has opened open other markets to us,’ said managing director Danny Frayne, ‘in fact, one of the first jobs completed on the PageWide was for a large number of A1 colour posters.’
The inkjet printer uses one fifth of the power of LED models and can use a wider range of media.
The machine, which was provided by Stanford Marsh, uses HP SmartStream workflow for job submission.
