Barry Crich, managing director of Adare SEC

The company has invested £400,000 in three pieces of machinery at the Redditch site, which specialises in security printing.

The first of these is a Dimuken foiling and numbering machine to meet demand for increased capacity and flexibility. This machine integrates holograms and foiling into documents, such as event tickets or exam certificates.

The second machine enables gift, loyalty or membership cards to be personalised and attached to the ‘carrier’ in one secure process.

Finally, the firm has upgraded a booklet making line by incorporating new technology from Wilstead to improve capacity and efficiency.

Barry Crich, managing director of Adare SEC, said: ‘Adare SEC’s latest investments focus on meeting the increased demand for highly-secure printed solutions and re-enforces our commitment to delivering the highest levels of security, innovation, service and quality to our clients.’

Adare SEC, which has headquarters in Huddersfield, provides secure and essential communications (security and transactional printing).

Earlier this year the company spent £3.3m with Ricoh to upgrade printing systems at Huddersfield.
