LED UV widens the range of materials onto which the new H3200i can print
The new 3.2 m wide hybrid’s use of LED curing widens the range of substrates and reduces operational costs.
‘Our customers will benefit from the operational savings, the broader media range and the environmental advantages that LED UV curing adds to the systems, without compromising on either print quality or productivity,’ commented Willy Van Dromme, marketing manager wide-format, Agfa Graphics.
Equipped with air-cooled LED UV lamps, the H3200i can print on heat sensitive substrates such as thin layer styrene, self-adhesive sheets or stretched ceiling materials made of PVC fabric.
The H3200i LED is a belt driven hybrid printer which handles roll media up to 3.2 m wide, both in a single roll and a dual roll configuration, and it also allows for printing on 2 m x 3 m rigids, fed with the long side first. It has a built in white ink function, allowing it to produce pre-, post-, spot and even sandwich white.
Agfa Graphics will be introducing its new wide-format printer at the 2016 SGIA Expo.
