The two new machines at Route One Print’s premises in Rotherham
The online trade printer is the first UK firm to install the two machines together.
‘Using the Indigo and SmartStacker together will reduce manpower, streamline production and improve efficiency so that orders can be printed, finished and out the door faster than ever,’ said Adam Carnell, co-founder of Route One Print.
‘We’re really excited about the HP Indigo,’ he added. ‘As it is B2 format, we will be able to produce smaller runs on products that were previously printed litho, such as presentation folders.’
The Horizon SmartStacker, which automatically cuts, trims and stacks products, is the firm’s first move to inline finishing.
