DMU graduate Emma Neary and Matt Lawrenson, senior group marketing executive, GI Solutions 

The company awarded the prize for best BA (Hons) Marketing & Media Student.

The award was presented to Emma Neary, 22, who graduated with first class honours.

‘Emma has really excelled and it’s great to be able to reward this effort,’ said GI Solutions senior group marketing executive Matt Lawrenson, himself an alumnus of De Montfort University (DMU). ‘It was special for me to hand out GI’s award, as four years to the day almost, I myself was graduating in Marketing.’ Mr Lawrenson added.

The sponsorship of this award further cements links between DMU and GI Solutions Group, following the recent recruitment of five graduate and two placement marketing analysts by GI Insight, the data and web analytics arm of the firm.
