Callprint’s regional manager, Gavin Craddock

Print and visual communications specialist Callprint is seeking new staff and machinery for its relocated Birmingham site, prior to 24-hour operation.

The 1200 sqm facility hub adjacent to the Aston Expressway, near the M6 motorway (previously based in Birmingham city centre) currently operates an 18-hour double-day shift pattern. With new machinery planned, the site will become a 24-hour operation.

A second-phase recruitment drive aims to fill apprentice and senior positions in both sales and account management. The relocation has already bolstered estimating, administration and account management personnel.

Expansion will focus on the wide format sector. Since the relocation increased Callprint’s large format capabilities, including a drive-in area for vehicle wraps, it has been producing work for sister business Jupiter Visual Communications.

Regional Manager, Gavin Craddock enthused, ‘the move has not only been hugely beneficial to our clients, but it’s also caused a real buzz within our Birmingham team. The move was a huge undertaking, and the guys have all pulled together and enabled us to get through it, so we feel very much at home now.’
