Horizon’s SPF-FC/200L can produce A4 landscape products.
As part of a £230,000 finishing investment, Potts Print UK has bought a Horizon SPF-FC/200L landscape feed bookletmaker.
The purchase will allow the Cramlington based company to take advantage of its Xerox iGens with long sheet option.
Capable of 4,500 bph, the Horizon SPF/FC-200L has the ability to feed sheets up to 610 mm in length, enabling it to produce A4 landscape products.
‘We invested in the Horizon SPF-FC/200L to target small run landscape work,’ explained Brian Watson, production director. ‘It also gives us a lot more flexibility; it is easier to set up and we don’t have to fold the sections.
‘We have seen a shift towards landscape books, now that we have the [two] Xerox iGens which can produce the XXL sheet’, added Mr Watson.
The company also purchased two VAC 1000 collators and a Perfecta 132 TS Flowline guillotine.
