The newest version of QuarkXPress allows designers to create HTML5 publications and convert PDF, Illustrator and EPS files to native QuarkXPress objects. It includes a range of the top user requested features and continues to be sold as a perpetual license.

QuarkXPress 2016 enables designers to create HTML5 publications from scratch or from existing print layouts without additional software and no additional publishing costs.

The software is the first layout application to import PDF, Illustrator and EPS files. Designers can use the PDF conversion as a way to migrate layouts from other desktop publishing software such as InDesign, CorelDraw, and Microsoft Publisher. The new conversion functionality includes fully editable Bezier versions of vector graphics, real text and automatically extracted colours and fonts.

The ability to copy and paste objects from Illustrator and PowerPoint, among other programs, allows designers to easily complete and reuse the items.

With the new, multi-colour gradients feature designers have full flexibility when designing colour blends. Users are able to create as many colour stops as they wish using sliders or numeric settings and can opt for the full radial setting or set the aspect ratio. Unlike other layout software, users can even set different opacity levels for each colour stop.
