Hemel Hempstead-based Apex Digital Graphics and Intelligent Finishing Systems’ (IFS) co-operation will continue to offer printers real-life production and performance benefits in 2016 with The Real Print and Finish Open House on March 15, 16 and 17 at Apex’s premises.

Joining Apex and IFS for the first time will be Graphic Arts Supplies and the KURZ range of metalised foils including gold, silver and a variety of colours which will be digitally imprinted using the Foliant Taurus 530SF B2 laminator with sheets digitally printed on the Konica Minolta C1060. Regular event partners Imprint, KAS Paper Systems, Vpress, Renz and TSS will also be showcasing a range of different solutions for everyday applications. Premier will be supplying paper for the event.

Apex will showcase a Ryobi 755G B2 five colour offset press equipped with LED-UV curing. ‘Appropriately for a show with real solutions as its theme, Ryobi’s LED-UV system was the first of its kind and unlike some of the alternatives on the market, it uses genuine LED and is not simply a low power conventional UV system,’ said sales and marketing director, Neil Handforth.

IFS managing director Bryan Godwyn added, ‘We are always looking to present new ideas and solutions to our customers to help them open up potential new markets and new products and innovation for their customers. Visitors who pre-register for the open house will be given the option of having ‘real’ high quality digitally foiled business cards produced in a choice of designs which can be collected during the event. Anyone involved in producing high quality business cards with foiling must see this efficient and low cost solution.’
