There was a 10% increase in pre-registered attendees for this years EFI Connect Users’ conference compared to 2015 at Wynn, Las Vegas, which highlighted new market opportunities.

The conference featured a solutions centre and over 200 technical, sales and business management sessions, user meetings for the EFI productivity suite and MIS/ERP core platforms and a development track conducted by industry analyst group InfoTrends.

EFI CEO Guy Gecht addressed the need for customers to ‘bet on changes in the market forces to accelerate’ in his opening keynote speech. Mr Gecht added that successful printing businesses need to move with the window of opportunity.

Connect showcased how customers create opportunities with innovative, high value and high quality inkjet imaging applications. The ‘Imaging of Things’ was presented by Mr Gecht at the conference and is an online customer applications gallery designed to help EFI customers and print buyers grow their network and business relationships by providing a platform on which customers can share images and videos of their work.

Featured were technologies in EFI’s industrial inkjet portfolio which included best selling, entry level and high end hybrid LED printers. The exhibition floor also featured versatile roll-to-roll LED printing from EFI’s recently acquired Matan product line.

The conference hosted many exhibits from a variety of partner and sponsor companies including Canon USA and Xerox.
