Wide format print specialist Papergraphics has hailed its first open day for customers as a ‘fantastic success’, with print businesses from across the south east attending the two-day event at its Crawley offices to view its full range of hardware and media.
Following its decision to enter the hardware market, the company has become an authorised reseller of HP’s Latex 300 series printers, Canon’s aqueous large format printers, CWT’s innovative Flat Bed Applicator and Linear Cutter, and Zund’s G3 and S3 digital cutters. At the event, customers were given live demonstrations of all its latest hardware, including products from Jetrix, Epson, Summa, Easymount and Seal, and the various applications that they can help deliver.
Papergraphics also showcased its new application centre, designed to educate customers on the best way to use its products, and its 60,000 square foot factory, demonstrating how its media products are converted and distributed domestically and overseas.
Nathan Atkins, managing director of Papergraphics, commented: ‘We’re delighted with the outcome of our open day. It gave us a chance to showcase our range of hardware products and explain our strategy to new customers. It is important to us that the print industry sees who we are and how we operate, as we are looking to push the boundaries by offering innovative solutions that open up new revenue streams. It’s not just about the printing, it’s about the finished product and we’re working hard to ensure our customers are fully prepared to use wide-format printers for a variety of applications.’
Paul Arkinstall, digital print manager of CPO visited Papergraphics for its open day and was impressed with its facilities, products and knowledgeable, friendly staff. He said: ‘It was great hearing how the company operates and seeing its new printer showroom and warehouse production line. I already like how the company presents itself, so seeing how it operates ‘behind-the-scenes’ was an insightful experience.’
