Platinum Print in Harrogate has upgraded its digital printing capabilities with the acquisition of a Ricoh Pro C9100 and says the investment is part of a long-term strategy to ensure it is perceived as a marketing services provider. Previously, the company was using a Ricoh Pro C901.
The Pro C9100 has speeds of up to 130 pages per minute, a maximum monthly volume of up to one million A4 sheets and a duty cycle of 1.75 million A4 sheets.
Mark Plummer, managing director at Platinum Print, said: ‘Investing in the right technology was the most important consideration when the time came for us to upgrade our machine. We knew what issues the technology had to solve for us and Ricoh stood out because they provided the only seamless digital demonstration.’
