Callprint has announced several new equipment purchases and upgrades, including the purchase of three new 100-pages-per-minute Xerox Versant 2100s, an upgrade to an existing Xerox iGen 4, plus the installation of a 75-pages-per-minute Xerox Color J75 and RIP upgrades from Creo to Fiery across all the printers within the company.
Two of the new Versant 2100s have gone into Callprint’s London hub in Great Portland Street, whilst the other has also gone into its new Birmingham location. The new Xerox Color J75 Press has been installed at Callprint’s new Manchester location. The iGen 4 upgrade has been carried out at the Saffron Hill hub in London, with the addition of a larger sheet tray and an upgrade of its RIP to Fiery.
Callprint Group managing director Steve Cheek commented: ‘Our latest investment in small format technology gives Callprint increased capacity, reliability, quality and consistency across our locations, as well as now being able to print digitally on to a larger sheet size giving us the capability to produce A4 roll folds and A4 landscape booklets in small numbers.’
