Intelligent Finishing Systems will be promoting the latest post press developments in digital book production at the London 2015 Digital Book Printing Forum on June 25.
‘Significant market changes in book production continue apace,’ stated Bryan Godwyn, IFS joint managing director. ‘Run lengths vary greatly requiring a huge degree of flexibility while quality is unwavering and turnaround times get tighter.
‘To work effectively and, arguably more importantly, profitably, requires a considered approach to the end to end workflow and in particular finishing. Highly automated, intuitive touch screen set up allows for fast, efficient and accurate production that ensure runs of one can be just as bottom-line friendly and runs of hundreds or thousands.’
IFS attended the event last year and was pleased with the conversations that took place with key industry decision makers. ‘Last year provided us with a great opportunity to discuss market challenges with leading operations and we are looking forward to a similar high level of discussion at this year’s event.’
The Interquest Digital Book Printing Forum has been staged every year since 2010 with the aim of providing an update on key trends and issues in the book market, the evolution of the supply chain and the book manufacturing, as well as the statues and inroads of digital printing.
