Local business Enterprise Print, which is situated in the village of Honley, five miles from Huddersfield town centre, has been named as the official print partner of Huddersfield Town Football Club.
The majority of work the company provides is general business stationery items such as letterheads, compliment slips and business cards, as well as marketing items such as leaflets and brochures, and office products such as invoices, delivery note books and order pads.
Huddersfield Town’s commercial manager for partnerships, John Williams, said: ‘I am delighted that Enterprise Print have become the latest partner of the club, an industry leader in its field. It is a well-respected organisation with vast experience and becomes another true Yorkshire business working with ‘The Yorkshire Club’.’
Philip Stead, managing director of Enterprise Print, added: ‘Huddersfield Town is known as ‘The Yorkshire Club’ and we like to think of ourselves as ‘The Yorkshire Printer’. it’s great to be connected with our home football club. Just like Town we try to work with, and give value to, local businesses and local people.’
Over the last 10 years, the company has become one of the leading digital printers in the area, having invested heavily in new Xerox technology, particularly in the wake of its acquisition by Leeds Graphic Press in May 2013. The acquisition was closely followed by the installation of a 100-pages-per-minute Xerox Color Press 1000, replacing two Xerox 5252 machines, while an older Xerox 8000 was retained as a backup. Enterprise’s litho work was moved over to Leeds.
This investment improved print quality and up-time, and reduced energy bills, while the Color Press 1000 is also able to produce as much each day as the three old machines put together.
