Dalim Software has announced the launch of Twist 7.5, an update of its production automation software, which now supports even more image file formats.
Making it easier for designers to connect to Twist tools the software supports Raw, png and psd formats, and offers a seamless, direct connection from Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
The new features in TWIST extends the software’s reach beyond its traditional print production and image workflows to support media production for the brand enterprise. In doing so, production automation is expanded from business process management to final file processing.
The software provides companies with features such as the ability to build an almost infinite variety of processing paths; a very extensive modular feature set; and automation of repetitive tasks such as preflighting, file optimisation and conversion, colour management, and trapping, to name a few.
With its association with noted industry organisations such as GWG, Fogra and IDEAlliance, plus its strategic partnerships with many vendors, the company ensures that the quality of produced files exceeds industry standards.
In order to simplify interaction with workflows, the company is providing the new Twist Link plugin, which provides an easy-to-use connection to a Twist media workflow engine, for file processing directly from InDesign and Illustrator.
