Xerox C60 Digital Colour Press
John Brailsford Printers has added the latest Xerox C60 and Xerox 7855 colour devices to its quick print branches to keep up with customer demand.
The company offers a walk in service at its two quick print branches in Rotherham and Barnsley, ‘Our customers no longer expect us to print their job tomorrow or next week, they want it while they wait or at latest today, these purchases help us achieve that,’ said director John Brailsford.
The C60 is the latest colour production device from Xerox and builds on its successful 700 platform. The machine was specified loaded with dual high capacity trays and a full finishing solution with pro-active decurler and high production booklet finisher and folder. The C60 is the latest device to include SIQA, automated colour quality control and registration and is capable of handling heavy stocks up to 300 gsm and SRA3 size paper. The press was specified with the Xerox Freeflow Print Server and Productivity Pack for variable data and personalisation.
‘The new C60 was delivered just in time for Christmas and gives us the additional capacity that we have needed to take the pressure of our long run presses. The C60 will be used for while you wait and same day digital production of short run mailers, leaflets and posters along with saddle stitched booklets and speciality products such as labels and polyesters,’ added Mr Brailsford.
