Design and production house, Echo Studios, is the latest company to invest in the Fujifilm Acuity Advance Select UV flatbed printer to help the company branch out into different markets.
The company first saw the Fujifilm Acuity Advance Select UV at FESPA Digital 2014. Creative director, Dan Johnson, explained, ‘We went to the show to look at a different machine and almost stumbled on the Acuity Advance. As soon as we saw the device and the fantastic quality and range of applications it can deliver, we were ready to buy on the spot.’
Since the printer was installed, the benefits have already become apparent. Dan Johnson continued, ‘The Acuity Advance delivers incredible quality print, and allows us to produce applications we weren’t able to create previously. The spot UV varnish means we can now print prototypes of exceptional quality, whilst the device’s accurate drop placement gives us scope to produce much more detailed layered prints.’
Mr Johnson concluded, ‘We’ve already had great feedback from existing clients, and have actually won new business that we previously wouldn’t have pitched for – all because of the Acuity Advance Select. I don’t know what we ever did without it.’
