The Next Generation Casemaking XXL System, launched by ODM will enable users to produce 4″ x 4″ wallet (closed) size up to 22.75″ x 46.75″ (open) tabloid hard book covers.

The new system uses the same four processes as the original Casemaking System, which the company has worked on to make the user. The first process is the Casemaking System XXL that includes the Spreader, Slider, Stomper and Squeezer.

The operator simply runs the cover material through the (Spreader) top side gluer, aligns cover boards in position with the (Slider) sliding table case gauge, turns in all four sides of the cover with the (Stomper) air operated turning in machine and feeds the finished cover through the (Squeezer) rotary press.

The entire  Casemaking line is both self-adjusting and simple to operate, making it the ideal choice for on demand printers who require on demand bindery and short run applications. Built-in light box increases accuracy when aligning pre-printed covers. Just simply centre the title on the scribed line and the type lines up perfectly on the spine, improving registration.

The Casemaking System XXL is designed for two operators and can produce up to 200 covers per hour from wallet (min. size: 4″ x 4″ closed) to tabloid size (max. size: 22.75″ x 46.75″ open); up to 4″ thick.
