Zerographic Systems will be holding the Professional Print 2014 event at its Wakefield facilities on 5 November, where the company will unveil the Xerox Versant 2100 Press.
Professional Print 2014: Turning Science Into Art will feature guests from leading industry organisations including the British Printing Industry Federation, Xerox, XMPie and EFI.
‘We see the free event as creating a forum in which print professionals can thrash out and get to grips with the real issues they face day in, day out,’ said Zerographic managing director, Kevin Corbett.
Mr Corbett explained, ‘How can we achieve consistent print quality whilst controlling costs? How can we increase productivity and better service our end users? How can we create economic and environmental sustainability through our print infrastructures? These are the types of issues that matter to industry and these are the type of issues we’ll put centre stage at the event.’
Marcus Clifford, director of the British Printing Industry Federation, will be a speaker at the event, he said, ‘Our trade organisation welcomes any event which brings together members of the professional print industry. This is our industry and we’ll use the forum to explore how printers can grow and develop healthy, sustainable and profitable businesses.’
