David Saunders: ‘The data management element is extremely important.’

Sussex-based ‘targeted marketing solutions provider’ Kingsline, has installed a Ricoh Pro C751 and mono Ricoh Pro 8120S in April 2014, and is discovering new levels of efficiency and improved workflow processes from the decision.

Kingsline aims to provide ambitious integrated marketing campaigns that are highly personalised and targeted, and this investment has marked the next phase of its six year history in providing on demand mailing collateral to a wide customer base.

David Saunders, director at Kingsline, said: ‘Over the past six years we have grown from a team of two to ten people, and our success has largely been down to the fact that we have remained focused on our key objectives – everything we do is bespoke mailing, exploiting the data we receive from our clients in intelligent ways. Examples of this work include welcome packs for a leading children’s charity, where we are able to pull data directly from the customer’s CRM.’

The output speed and workflow of the Ricoh systems has allowed Kingsline to replace two colour machines from another manufacturer with just the Ricoh Pro C751. ‘The data management element is obviously extremely important to our business, as a lot of the work we produce is driven by data from our customers. The integrity of our systems in sorting that data and linking directly to client CRM systems is complimented by the efficient, automated workflow that both Ricoh presses deliver,’ said Mr Saunders.

Having operator-replaceable units was another significant factor in Kingsline’s selection of Ricoh technology, it said, ensuring less downtime.
