Ellison Printing has brought its wide format production in house with a new Mimaki CJV30-130 supplied by PaperlinX, bringing increased productivity and improved margins.
With clients ranging from small businesses to large corporates and public bodies; the company has continuously diversified its business, creating additional revenue streams and evolving its range of services and printing equipment to offer a wider and improved range of services to customers.
Director, Jane Caunce, said, ‘We recognised that investing in a wide format printer would provide us with better control, enhance our profit margins, and make us more versatile and flexible in providing solutions to our customers.’
The team visited PaperlinX’s Manchester-based Application Centre for a full demonstration of the CJV30 and enabled Ellison Printing to use the technology using their own files and preferred substrates to experience first-hand the value it would bring to their operation.
‘I was really impressed with the build quality, colour vibrancy and the level of fine detail the Mimaki achieves. Its online cutting capability combined with the wide range of substrates it supports were additional pluses for us,’ said Ms Caunce.
The CJV30 Series printer-cutter offers flexibility with its four sizing options from 60 cm through to 1.6 m. Combining high performance with superior print quality, the CJV30 has print speeds of up to 17.5 msq/h and runs with Mimaki’s SS21 fast drying, outdoor durable inks.
