Xeikon has appointed Peter Banks to its UK sales team, who will be involved in the sale and promotion of Xeikon digital printing equipment to the commercial printing, transaction and document markets.
Mr Banks joins Xeikon as the latest step in his digital printing sales career. Having spent some sixteen years working with Kodak and related companies, which included Scitex, CreoScitex, and Creo, he has more recently enjoyed a three-year appointment with Presstek.
Mr Banks said, ‘Xeikon products offer customers great opportunities for profit and an attractive ROI based on many unique features. I am particularly looking forward to talking to potential customers about Trillium technology, Xeikon’s liquid toner development. Trillium will fill a real gap in the market that exists for the highest quality direct marketing, transactional, book and catalogue applications.
‘I have enjoyed a long and successful career in the industry and it will come as no surprise how often I have come across busy Xeikon installations. Customers are always very happy with Xeikon equipment, and especially with the service and support that they receive from the company. Now I have the opportunity to join the business and to work with and promote these excellent, solid, high-quality digital printing products.’
