This summer Balreed successfully completed the logistical nightmare of installing 1,400 printers in over 1,000 Betfred locations nationwide as part of a new managed print service.
The company managed the entire implementation to a very tight timescale of just two and a half months as every device had to be installed in time for the World Cup and the new football season kicking-off.
The nationwide fleet is now monitored continuously through Balreed’s Remote Managed Print Service team on a real-time basis. Consumables are managed pro-actively, with replacement toners delivered to Betfred branches before they run out, and potential faults pre-empted wherever possible by technical specialists to maximise uptime.
Graham Orr, director of client services explained, ‘One of Betfred’s strengths is their unique daily offer. These offers need to be printed and displayed in branches for customers within 30 minutes of opening and change frequently. As the World Cup approached, their previous supplier could no longer meet their needs so they turned to Balreed because of our managed service reputation.’
‘My pride in all of this was twofold, one in terms of our service department achieving this huge rollout so smoothly and effectively, and secondly at the same time my staff maintaining our levels of service for our existing clients on a daily basis. The rollout of 1,400 devices in such a tight timescale was a major challenge. Our dedicated specialist support team were key to the success of this project.’
