Sharp’s MX-7500N is a 75 pages per minute colour printer.
Sharp says that its new Pro Series MX-6500N and MX-7500N colour printing systems round out its high-speed, high-volume product line up.
The devices offer speeds of 65 and 75 pages per minute respectively with a ‘unique’ edge-to-edge printing capability, and according to Sharp are perfect for print on-demand environments such as Central Reprographics Departments and In-Plant print shops.
An option is the advanced MX-PE10 EFI Fiery Server with Command WorkStation job management interface, and all jobs can be managed directly on a Sharp 15.4 inch touch-screen, which also serves as the main operation panel. The combination provides ‘unmatched control and ease-of-use and virtually eliminates the need for multiple workstations’, the company said.
These systems have a maximum sheet capacity of 13,500 sheets, and can handle a sheet size of 330.2 x 487.7 mm. Media handling capability is 60 to 300 gsm, in coated, uncoated and textured stock.
‘As businesses seek to gain control of their outsourcing costs without sacrificing quality, the print on-demand market will continue to see production work trickle down from traditional printing methods to digital,’ said Felicity Knee, UK product marketing manager for Sharp. ‘The Sharp Pro Series was developed to satisfy these needs by providing production class features with multifunction versatility, reducing costs while providing professional results in-house.’
The MX-6500N and MX-7500N models are available immediately via authorised Sharp dealers and direct sales.
