Develop’s ineo+ 1060 and 1070 deliver ‘offset-like’ quality.
DSales (UK), the UK distributor for the Develop range of multifunctional document imaging systems, has launched the ineo+ 1060 and 1070 colour production print systems aimed at print-for-pay providers and the in-house print room market. These are based on the Konica Minolta bizhub Press 1060 and 1070 systems.
They have print speeds of up to 60 and 71 pages per minute respectively for colour or black-and-white output and a maximum input capacity of up to 7500 sheets to handle large monthly volumes.
Image quality is described as ‘offset-like’ at 1200 x 1200dpi, 8 bit resolution. SEAD IV (Screen-Enhancing Active Digital) image processing produces more natural textures using a new high-definition polymerised toner for enhanced colour density adjustment and high-precision centring correction, while consistent image quality is maintained over long print runs with active Image Density Control.
Thick and coated paper up to 300 gsm in weight and SRA3 in size can be handled, with automatic two-sided perfecting print possible for paper of up to 300 gsm.
There is a choice of print controllers: Develop’s own embedded IC-602 print controller; an embedded EFI IC-415 controller; or the external EFI IC-308 controller. Inline finishing options include large capacity stacker, hole punching, folding, stapling, saddle stitching and perfect binding.
