GI Solutions has reduced its carbon related emissions by installing new and more energy efficient chilling equipment from Parker Hiross.
The new chiller unit is in place and giving cost and energy savings at an annual reduction of 40%, with energy usage and carbon emissions reduced by 35%. Energy reduction is important to the company’s environmental objectives to attain ISO 14001.

The new chillers have been designed with low sound levels, energy efficiency, cost effectiveness and the environment in mind.
The old chiller equipment used to supply cold water for the chill rollers on the inline web offset presses were replaced after being measured for energy consumption identified them as high users of electricity.
