Birmingham-based Pinstripe Print Group has secured a three-year sole supplier deal with Edgbaston Stadium to provide the venue and Warwickshire County Cricket Club with print and design services.
The company will be responsible for production of the sporting venue’s yearbook, annual report and other promotional items.
This deal follows the company’s attainment of the ISO 12647-2 colour management scheme certification in January this year, the first B2 printer in the UK to do so.
Managing director, Nigel Lyon, stated, ‘We are delighted to have been appointed as an official partner and supplier to such a prestigious and first-class sporting venue such as Edgbaston, as they only partner with the best, which we feel is an endorsement of our credentials, not only in print, but in business and environmentally.’
He continued, ‘We are proud to be partnered with Edgbaston and Warwickshire County Cricket Club, as we have established a good relationship with their team, and our investment in environmental standards and new equipment has clearly helped position Pinstripe as a leading player that prestigious partners such as Edgbaston want to be associated with.’
Gareth Roberts, commercial director at Edgbaston, said, ‘We’ve been working with Pinstripe for the past year, and having excelled in all areas, we were keen to develop the relationship by making the firm an official partner for the club.’
He added, ‘In addition to being based locally and very easy to work with, Pinstripe deliver a total commitment to sustainable printing, and are able to supply print which has zero C02 emissions, i.e. no CO2 impact what so ever. This is vital to us, as it fits perfectly into the club’s sustainability ethos and strong CSR policy.’
