CCM Premier has re-vamped its guillotine range with new features, improved ergonomics and a new look designed to deliver a more efficient operation.
‘The CCM Guillotine range is one of the most popular products we sell,’ explained Dean Stayne, sales manager. ‘Its production quality, robust build and ease of use, as well as cost effectiveness, combine to create a reliable and productive bindery must-have.’
Among the main enhancements is the large 15″ full-colour intuitive touch-screen on the CCM115 ensuring simple, fast operation. The touch screen, in either 10″ or 15″ options, is also available on the CCM78 and CCM92 models.
Air side-tables ensure ease of paper handling while other benefits of the new-look range are improved cutting accuracy, double rail, linear guide, ball bearing single-driven back gauge and fully-enclosed rear guarding. A totally enclosed knife change with monitored single shear bolt protection, turnbuckle adjustment, ensure a fast, safe and easy procedure.
All systems, including the CM115, CCM137 CCM168 offer the optional flow-line and paper handling systems that can increase production time up to 30%.
The latest and highest specification version of the CCM Premier, the CCM Premier Plus range, includes central lubrication, which means wear-free bearings and longer intervals between servicing, large air side tables for easier paper handling, auto knife function for repeat cutting, and a larger diameter backguage spindle for faster backguage action.
As well as a recent restyling to improve ergonomics, the range features a deep clamp opening which accepts more paper to reduce overall cutting time, and infra red slimline light barriers. Safety is also enhanced via the use of an optical cutting safety line.
Mr Staynes added, ‘These systems are built to last. They are much heavier than other manufacturers’ guillotines, for less vibration, longer machine life and improved cutting accuracy.’
