A chance meeting at a set of traffic lights led printing company Plus2Print to invest in a Mimaki CJV30-100 to gain new customers and increase production.

‘We just so happened to see a Dennis D Evans van parked at a set of traffic lights and I knocked on the window for a brochure,’ explained Gavin Oakes co-owner. ‘It really was a fortuitous meeting, as we soon found out.’ Dennis D Evans, the Belfast based Mimaki reseller, was able to demonstrate the Mimaki CJV30 integrated printer/cutter and Plus2Print had their installation shortly after.

‘The Mimaki CJV30 fitted into our setup perfectly and the seamless transition from printing into cutting has been a great asset to us,’ commented Mr Oakes. ‘We were looking at wide format to push our business forward to the next level, having been mainly print and design for 20 years. Meeting the Dennis D Evans guys was a real breakthrough – vehicle graphics are great way of strengthening any company’s brand and giving a business a professional image; all of which can now be done with our Mimaki.’

The company has a strong online social media presence and acquires a substantial portion of its business through platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.

The CJV30 Series printer/cutter is an integrated print and cut solution from that offers flexibility with four sizing options from 60 cm through to 1.6 m.
