Not PICT for his dress sense: Jon Vic with his son dressed in the onesies they wore to Wembley
John Vic, sales director at Premier Paper Group, discarded his dignity by attending this year’s FA Cup final dressed in an Arsenal onesie to raise money for charity.
All money raised will go to the Paper Industry Charitable Trust (PICT), and more pictures from the day out will be released as more money is raised. The first picture (above) was revealed after Digital Printer made a £100 donation.
As a sport secretary for PICT, John has also organised the charity’s annual tennis tournament on 11 September 2014. The fundraising event will be held at Northampton County Lawn Tennis Club and will offer participants from the paper industry a chance to go head to head in doubles matches for two trophies, the Penman Trophy and the Johnston Cup.
PICT supports those who have devoted much of their working life to the paper trade and are now unfortunate enough to find themselves fallen on hard times.
This continues the practice of helping a number of individuals and their dependents, which the SSS (Stationers Social Society) has discreetly done over many years and which PICT will continue to do as part of its charitable works in support of these worthy causes.
