The Hollanders ColorBooster 250
Making its European début at this year’s Fespa Digital is the ColorBooster 250 digital textile printer from Hollanders Printing Systems.
The machine has a modular design that can be upgraded when required, and so can be introduced at an entry-level price from €89,000 and is complemented by the ColorBooster 250 Carpet Edition that is specifically configured to work with flooring materials.
The ColorBooster 250 is a 2.5 m wide-format digital textile printer which incorporates many of the established features that are built into the Hollanders 3.2 m ColorBooster XL and its ergonomic, superior construction guarantees high quality production on a broad variety of polyester-based materials.
The machine can be configured to suit the production requirements of individual users, with upgrade paths that accommodate a host of additional features such as dust and climate control, or additional printheads for faster throughput. The Carpet Edition is intended for users wanting a digital device for producing durable floor coverings and is engineered to work with heavy rolls.
At Fespa Digital Hollanders will also feature full information on its ColorBooster XL 3.2 m printer and its innovative ColorBooster DS, which according to the company is the only production system that prints on both sides simultaneously and incorporates an integrated infra-red fixation unit. The company’s digital textile printers are complemented by its ColorWash washing machine and ColorFix infra-red colour fixation system.
‘The European launch of the ColorBooster 250 is an important move forward for Hollanders as it brings our printers within easy reach of businesses wanting to move into high quality digital textile production without having to make a heavyweight investment,’ stated Jacco Aartsen Tuijn, CEO. ‘We’re seeing increased levels of interest in all of our ColorBooster printers and finishing systems, and we’re sure our presence in the entry-level and mid-range markets will be welcomed by smaller companies who want a truly modular Hollanders machine.’
