Preliminary trading figures show that managed print services and production print systems provider Balreed grew its turnover by 23% to over £29 million in 2013, up £5.5 million.
Gary Downey, Balreed’s group marketing director, said: ‘We made two acquisitions in 2013 which are now fully integrated into the business, but these were in the latter half of the year so have had very little impact on the results and we will see the benefits of those next year. We achieved £5 million of organic growth, winning new clients and growing our share of existing in equal measure with some very large implementations and service takeovers, and outpaced the market with our expertise in production print systems.’
Balreed is a reseller of digital production printing systems from Canon, Konica Minolta, Ricoh and Xerox, as well as smaller colour and mono devices and a range of software for tasks such as print management, variable data and personalisation, and document workflows.
