Patrick Martell is the president of Ipex 2014.

The Ipex 360 Committee – a steering committee of printers that has helped organisers Informa in the shaping of the upcoming Ipex 2014 event – has issued an open letter to the industry in which it calls on ‘all printers and communication specialists’ to register for the London show.

It describes Ipex as an ‘opportunity not to be missed’, and says it ‘offers something for everyone’. The full text of the letter is as follows:

Ipex 2014: An opportunity not to be missed!

As fellow stakeholders in the future of the UK’s print industry, we are calling on all printers and communications specialists to register now and start planning their visit to Ipex 2014.

Ipex will offer something for everyone; whether you are interested in the latest print technologies, looking for inspiration from case studies that can be applied to your own customers, want ideas on the measures you can implement to improve the day-to-day running of your company, or hear about the future of the industry to make strategic business decisions.

With the industry’s most robust content programme with over 120 educational sessions complementing around 500 companies that will be showcasing the latest technologies across the complete print supply chain, Ipex promises to be 2014’s not-to-be-missed event.

We are therefore encouraging anyone with a stake in the print industry to visit Ipex at ExCeL London between 24th and 29th March 2014 and use the opportunity to learn, network and do business, and believe that you should do the same.

This not-to-be-missed event in 2014 is free for pre-registrants, so visit www.ipex.org for the latest information and to register your attendance if you haven’t done so already.

We look forward to seeing you at Ipex 2014.

The letter is signed by Ipex president Patrick Martell and the other six members of the committee: Malcolm Lane-Ley (Anton Group), Adam Spurdle (Communisis), Roger Pitt (Headley Brothers), Jon Bailey (ProCo), John Charnock (Print Research International), and Norman Revill (York Mailing and Pindar).
