Marketing communications provider Romax has installed a Xerox iGen 150 Press at its print facility in London to meet increased customer demand.
Following a significant new contract acquired within the telecommunications sector and an increased volume of work across the business, the company selected the iGen 150 specifically for its productivity, high colour accuracy and the added flexibility of its larger sheet size. The press will support a surge in demand for next-day and same-day turnarounds at the company.
‘There is always something new going on at this company, so we want the most recent and up-to-date technology available,’ said board director, Wes Dowding. ‘Xerox’s forward-looking approach and unrivalled equipment allow us to continually take our business to the next level.’
The iGen’s larger sheet size (364 mm x 660 mm) will open up new revenue streams by enabling the company to provide a more diversified product portfolio, from postcards to printed packaging and, in particular, for its Photoleaf product range.
The new equipment forms part of the company’s wider business strategy for the next five years, enabling it to expand the flexibility of its digital output as it continues to grow.
