Grants of up to £1,500 each are available to help pay for any education or training courses for printing, publishing or graphic arts in the UK.
The grants are available for anyone between 16 -30 years of age and entries close Friday, 30 May 2014.
The scheme is now in its eleventh year, and is set to grow again in 2014 with an increased number of cash grants available for young people, thanks to the continued generosity of The Printing Charity and on going support from Unite the Union and the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF). 17 Awards were given last year and the target this year is 25.
The three sponsors are pleased to welcome new support this year from The John Crosfield Foundation and St Bride Foundation.
The John Crosfield Foundation has donated its remaining charitable funds to The Printing Charity to administer as part of the Print Futures Awards, which align with The John Crosfield Foundation’s aim of helping young people to train for a career in printing.
Stephen Gilbert, The Printing Charity’s chief executive, said, ‘The Print Futures Awards will acknowledge this funding, continuing the Crosfield name. St Bride Foundation will be this year’s judging venue, helping to promote its facilities to the new generation entering the UK printing, publishing and graphic arts sectors.’

It’s fantastic to be welcoming the young people of the industry as part of our drive to become the centre of the printing industry in Fleet Street.’
