The Kolbus RE 143 round corner cutting machine
To meet the increasing demand for round cornered books Kolbus has launched the Kolbus RE 143 round corner cutting machine.
With performance of up to 7,200 products/hour it is considerably faster than any other machine on the market. It shares the solid design features of the Kolbus HD three knife trimmer range so provides high output with supreme accuracy.
It also means that product piles from the three knife trimmer are ready to be fed straight into the round corner cutter, maintaining optimum production speed.
The Kolbus RE 143 can be operated via the touchscreen of the Kolbus Co-Pilot and the pressing power can also be controlled from here. This ensures that lightweight or sensitive papers show no signs of pressing wrinkles.
Changeover times are fast with automatic adjustment of format axis and with the setting gauge situated outside the machine knife changes are quick and require no setting readjustments.
