With increasing demand for wire binding work, Cashin Print in Castlebar, Co Mayo, Ireland has installed a Renz Punch 500 and Renz Mobi 500 machine. The machines were sold through the Renz agent in Ireland, DBC Group.
The family-owned business has been in Castlebar since 1965, and offers a full range of print services including concept and design, personalised printing, digital print and traditional litho print. Customers range from individuals and small businesses, up to large multi-national corporations.
The Punch 500 is a heavy duty system, capable of punching 4 mm per punch. The Mobi 500 is a wire binding machine with touch-screen assisted make ready, taking just a few minutes to set up between wire and book sizes. It can bind all book and calendar requirements.
‘The installation and training was completed very efficiently, only taking a couple of hours,’ said the company’s managing director Damien Cashin.
