Gildenburgh in house worker

Gildenburgh has seen an improvement in its web to print system after it elected to beta test Fujifilm’s cloud based solution, XMF PrintCentre.

The test period later lead to a full installation of the software at the end of 2012. The company specialises in colour critical applications for customers such as magazine publishers and event organisers.

Rob Gutteridge, director, explained, ‘We were looking for a web-to-print solution and after comparing the different options available, we realised XMF PrintCentre was the best choice because of Fujifilm’s development plans for the product, which were very interesting to us.’

The software gives print service providers the ability to create single or multiple e-commerce portals tailored to the requirements of individual or multiple customers. It allows users to order stock items such as brochures, flyers and catalogues, or can be used as a means to sell a wide variety of personalised print, including photo books, conference materials, ticketing and event information.

Mr Gutteridge added, ‘The extensive back office administration system is impressively structured, allowing for customer integration and passive transactions. Anyone who’s ever placed an order online will be instantly familiar with the pricing and shopping basket facilities, and the rest of the features are clearly mapped out for those less used to dealing with e-commerce sites.’
