A range of configuration options that increase document quality whilst optimising paper management and finishing is available from a new range of A3 MFPs from UTAX (UK) Ltd.

UTAXThe UTAX 3005ci

The 3005ci, 3550ci, 4505ci and 5505ci colour devices and the 3555i, 4555i and 5555i mono devices, which replace the CDC 19xx Series and CD14xx Series respectively, have been designed to offer increased overall productivity by approximately 20%, according to the company, with a high-speed output of up to 55 ppm in mono, and 50 ppm in colour (5505ci), with 100% duplex productivity.

The new designs offer consistent performance, even for large-scale print jobs, with high paper capacities and definition of up to 50 dividers per job. Another feature is that training time is lower as the A3 range has an intuitive colour touch panel similar to many smart phones or tablets.

Shaun Wilkinson, managing director, said, ‘With so many innovative features, you can configure your multifunctional system to exactly match your needs – and on a user by user basis, our new A3 colour and mono multifunctional systems enable offices to work more effectively, economically and ecologically. All in all, UTAX’s range of A3 MFPs just keep getting better.’

The A3 MFPs all feature improved energy saving aspects, with TEC values approximately 30% to 40% lower than on previous models. The brand new ‘deep sleep’ mode means you consume even less energy and work in a more environmentally friendly manner, all the MFPs in the new range can detect blank pages and skip these when copying.
