New Digi Jet high speed bi-directional UV LED ink jet machines for printing flat and 3D components have been launched by Pad Print UK.
The servo controlled bi-directional printers come with dual LED UV lamps and RIP software and are equipped with six electric Drop On Demand Piezo print heads to allow printing a white base colour onto darker substrates and at the same time print and cure CMYK colours.
The print head and ink combination aims to deliver high resolution, vivid digital images on both light and dark substrates. Using LED UV technology the machine is claimed to be environmentally friendly for both short and long runs.
