Presented by the Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, the developer of software drivers and electronics for industrial inkjet printheads, GIS, received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2013 in the International Trade category.
The award was given to the company in recognition of its achievements in growing revenues in overseas markets throughout Europe, the USA and Asia. In 2012, 89% of the company’s total sales were in international markets – an increase from 47% in 2010. Overseas sales growth was 132% in 2012.
The Lord-Lieutenant presented the award at the company’s head office in Cambridge where he met with many members of the team who have been instrumental in helping to win this prestigious award.
