Fujifilm has introduced the latest addition to its wide format UV inkjet family of printers, the Acuity Advance Select HS.
This will be shown for the first time at the FESPA exhibition in London, June 25-29, 2013.
The new series builds on all the advantages of the previous platform, however, it is also able to run at higher speeds, up to a maximum of 49.7 sqm/hr in Production Squared mode.
One of the key developments incorporated into the HS 5006/5226 models, is the inclusion of six independent ink channels. For printers that focus on retail signage or other standard graphics applications, channels five and six can be configured to enhance print speed by adding extra cyan and magenta nozzle capacity. They can also be configured with additional white and clear ink channels.
The printers possess a number of features designed to achieve maximum productivity including active pixel placement compensation, a precise vacuum system and the batch mode operation.
As with other Acuity Advance models, the Select HS has an optional roll media kit for printing onto any number of flexible materials.
