Vivid Laminating Technologies has developed a new double-sided laminating machine, which it is to introduce at FESPA London at the end of June.
The Matrix MX-530 Duplex allows users to laminate both sides of a sheet at the same time, instead of having to turn the sheet over and run through again. It is a modular variant which retrofits to the existing MX-530 system. The development of the duplex version follows that of an auto-feeder for the MF-530 in November, which the company said had proved a ‘runaway success’.
Product manager Bruce Cozens said: ‘We wanted to build on the success and buzz created by the Auto-Feeder introduction by now offering an upgraded model to the end user. The Matrix is now the best-selling single-sided laminating system in Europe and we’re confident that with the new model, it can also take the crown for double-sided systems too.’
